Romans 3:
21 But God has a way to make people right with him without the law, and he has now shown us that way which the law and the prophets told us about.
22 God makes people right with himself through their faith in Jesus Christ. This is true for all who believe in Christ, because all people are the same:
23 All have sinned and are not good enough for God's glory,
24 and all need to be made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift. They need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ.
25 God gave him as a way to forgive sin through faith in the blood of Jesus' death. This showed that God always does what is right and fair, as in the past when he was patient and did not punish people for their sins.
26 And God gave Jesus to show today that he does what is right. God did this so he could judge rightly and so he could make right any person who has faith in Jesus.
New Century Version

Imagine, God has made His grace available to us humans as a free gift!

Praise God for that! He always knew we would never be able to work for the forgiveness of our sins, or pay for forgiveness by putting ourselves through any kind of punishment we ourselves had chosen.

So He poured out upon us this undeserved favour, as a free gift, because He paid the price of this gift for us Himself, through the death of the Lord Jesus on the cross.

And what is even more marvellous is that the Lord Jesus didn't remain in the clutches of death, but is right now, at this very moment, alive and praying for you at the place of greatest power in God's heaven!

O, what mercy and grace!

Prayer:
Father, we thank You today that only YOU could have designed and implemented such a bold and comprehensive plan to show us humans Your great love for us.
Thank You Lord Jesus,
Amen.

See you tomorrow, God willing,
when you'll find a new thought here to challenge you!
Meanwhile, have a great day walking with the Lord!
